SERVICE:
By the end of the 2023-2024 Lion year, our District will increase the percentage of clubs reporting service to 100%.
Action Plan: To create a monitored District-Wide Screening Procedures and Reporting System for 2023-2024.
Steps:
GAT team will meet and discuss plan for accountability and execution
Create Procedures using the KidSight USA Training material and State of Texas.
Establish training Dates & Times and the existing funding to do so.
Ensure Machine & State Certifications to vision volunteers using a State Certified Trainer
Apply to LCI for Grant funding of 6 new machines
Apply for Grants from Local Governments
Require monthly Reporting by Secretary or Vision Chair to Zone Chairs. Zone Chairs will ensure that timely reports are received.
Assessment: To bring together ALL clubs with Vision Machines, including District owned machines, to assess who is being served and the condition of the machines we already have.
MEMBERSHIP:
By the end of the 2023-2024 Lion year, our District will achieve a net positive membership growth of 55.
Action Plan: Open one new club with 20 charter members.
Steps:
Create Meet & Greets at least once a quarter
Advertise these “get togethers: as well as Club
Activities on Facebook page and all other Media. Invite motivational speakers to club and Lion gatherings
Utilize information from the Your Club Your Way and the Club Health Assessment Report.
Membership Drives & Promotions. Including District challenges & Awards.
Officer Reporting will be required by either, the Secretary, President, Service Chair or Club Administrator by the 5th of each month to their respective Zone Chair.
Zone Chairs will report to the District Governor by the 8th of each month
Assessment: Monthly reports & assessments are critical in knowing the status and needs of each club every 30 days.
LEADERSHIP:
By the end of the first quarter of the 2023-2024 Lion year, every President and Secretary will be trained on responsibilities and new reporting software platform.
Action Plan: Our team will ensure that 100% of Zone Chairpersons attend Zone Chair Training.
Steps:
District GLT Coordinator will post information about trainings and report completed Zone Chairpersons and Club Officer training in Learn.
Our District will confirm 95% of Club Officers attend Club Officer Training.
Hold three trainings for new officers.
Hold 1 Zone Chair training.
In-club training for ALL others.
Training will be included in the district budget.
Assessment: To be the most cohesive group of Lions this District has ever seen.
LCIF:
To promote LCIF fundraising goals with awards and pledges for 2023-2024.
Action Plan: Ensure that individual participation in our district increases by 30% and club participation increase by 15%.
Steps:
Promote current challenges from LCIF and post on Facebook and other social media.
District challenges to clubs including personal visits.
Ensure club participation through monthly reporting.
District Cabinet Meetings provide opportunities for clubs to bring silent auction items benefitting LCIF.
Motivational speakers.
Encourage individual giving
Assessment: Spread the word about what LCIF has done for OUR District to our friends, peers, family and community.
